This straightforward, simply designed site was one of my first projects
at Captiva Marketing. PDI's old site featured unseemly bright
colors and cartoonish animated gifs, obviously not the type
of image a professional
company wants in public view. PDI wanted a cleanly designed,
functional site that mimicked the look of major law enforcement
and investigative agency sites. After submitting several concept
designs, for this final approved design I used black and gold,
traditional law enforcement colors,
throughout the site, and included a blurred image of Times
Square at night in the headerbar to bring out PDI's national
scope. An image of the company's
official seal placed on the home page, as well as on several
interior pages, adds an extra element of credibility.
