This site design came about after several revisions to my original proposed
composition. Elegant and classy to go along with the boutique's
high-end line of fashion, the home page doesn't follow the
typical conventions of an e-commerce store. Instead of showcasing
featured items with price tags and sale banners, as per my
initial site composition,
the client suggested a more condensed, clean, and refreshing
page design that simply featured a large, crisp shot of her
boutique's interior, along with a concise description. Using
a color scheme of cool sky blues and sharp black linework helped
to create an understated framework as well, allowing the boutique's
signature pieces to shine on the page.
