Print Design

My portfolio of print design includes work I've created for Captiva Marketing and its clients, including corporate logo, brochure, business card, and postcard design. Though web design is my forté, I have designed for print applications as needed. Print design involves a unique set of challenges when compared with web design. Both require meticulousness and a mind for structure, but in different ways. The words "end result" also take on different meanings. Web design is fluid by nature, always evolving, offering fresh content. Print design, by contrast, is fixed in time, concrete, and because of that may even hold a greater degree of credibility over its world-wide counterpart. All in all, I enjoyed my journeys into print for the new approach to design it required, as well as for the tactile satisfaction of holding a finished work in my hands.
